WHAT IS THE PURPLE LAB?

The Purple Lab is a part of the Phreaze Factory umbrella, and another step towards a long-term vision for female Hip hop Artist, Youth & Community Worker, Entrepreneur & Mama ‘Phreaze’. After many years of working in communities both in Australia and Aotearoa, wheeling her portable recording studio suitcase around from Youth & Community Centres to Events & Corporate Groups, Phreaze discovered the importance of providing access to, developing and promoting better understanding of raw art forms in communities. 

Being the first of its kind in the Bay of Plenty - you are probably wondering, what exactly IS The Purple Lab? Simply put, it is a digital creative space featuring 8 individual stations equipped with tools for Beatmaking, Audio Recording (including a booth), Garment & Sign Making, Graphic Design and more!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Phreaze tries to keep workshops free to participants as often as possible but unfortunately sometimes a cost is required in order to keep The Purple Lab running. Here's where you come in! As of Feb 2021 you are now able to SPONSOR A SPACE for a member of the community who may not otherwise have access to the funds to participate. Note: Sponsored participants are selected from applicants to each set of workshops by The Purple Lab/Phreaze Factory. If you would like to sponsor someone in particular, please get them to register as a non-sponsored participant through The Purple Lab website and we are able to send the invoice to you.

WHAT YOU GET

Aside from that beautifully warm fuzzy feeling inside from helping out another human - as sponsorships are received, we will also promote the sponsored spaces being available through our Phreaze Factory socials and other media outlets where possible. At your request, we can include your business logo/name and a blurb wherever possible as a Sponsor of the space.

Please upload a logo in the box provided below if you would like this included, and in the text box below that, please include anything else that you would like us to mention in our promotions (eg. website etc). Out of respect for their privacy, sharing of photos of your sponsored participant and/or their works/story with you, will be entirely at their discretion. 

Note: The Purple Lab does not hold registered charity status. Please let us know if you require a tax invoice and we can forward one through.
